From 14 to 16 October, Syngenta Flowers was present at Iberflora in Valencia. The event for growers and suppliers was well attended by more than 13,000 visitors from Spain (80%) and Italy, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, Japan and the Middle East, which together accounted for the remaining 20% of visitors. There is a total of approximately 36,000 m² of exhibition space with more than 400 exhibitors. This edition of Iberflora was also honoured with the Planta España Award for the event's past successes and its dedication to promoting the Spanish ornamental sector.

At our stand, we displayed a number of varieties of our Mandevilla Rio®, including Rio® Lipstick, which also won the innovation award in the Plants and Flowers category. Lavandula stoechas and Lavandula angustifolia were also on display, as well as Cyclamen persicum Sierra Scarlet Imp. This improved version of Sierra Scarlet is more resistant to southern European weather conditions and therefore could not be missing from our stand. Finally, we also highlighted our various product forms, such as Xtray®, XCarrier®, and Quickstep, and the advantages they offer our customers.

This trade fair provided a good platform for talking to and networking with both existing and potential customers. There was also a meeting for the Di Dipladenia campaign. Di Dipladenia is a private initiative, promoted by the entire sector with a commercial interest in this plant, and is aimed at both end consumers and professionals in the ornamental sector.
