Helleborus are (semi) evergreen, long lived plants that prefer (semi) shade and are tolerant to drought. 

Our Christmas Carol from seed has bright white flowers on strong dark green leaves. The plant is 90% flowering before Christmas and adds much needed flowering interest for the winter season.  Christmas Carol is an established name at retail and a go-to variety for growers. In 2025 we celebrated 20 years of the Christmas Carol brand. 

In addition to Christmas Carol we have the Halcyon Early Red and Early Rose from seed. These varieties show additional colour in the winter season.  The long lasting nodding flowers emerge already before Christmas and contine until early spring, providing colour when little else is in bloom. The flowers are complemented by evergreen, leathery, dark green foliage that remains attractive year-round.

Gaultheria procumbens, commonly known as Eastern Teaberry, Checkerberry, or American Wintergreen, is a small, evergreen shrub. The small white to pale pink bell shapped flowers in mid to late summer will turn to bright red berries in autumn. Evergreen foliage and its ability to spread slowly makes it an excellent choice for naturalized areas or as a low-maintenance ground cover. Gaultheria procumbens is an excellent choice for shaded areas or even as seasonal interest in Autumn mixed containers.

'Big Berry'  is our market leading variety and has the largest berries on the market. This variety, next to 'Speedy Baron', both first year culture varieties, offer flexibility for growers. 

Our Cyberia series is a hardy cyclamen coum and comes in 4 colours ranging from White to Dark Rose. Each variety contrasts beautifully with their dark green, silver or marbled leaves. Cyberia thrives in the cold and low light conditions of winter and constantly produces a profusion of colour from December to April. It adds the much needed colour to your winter offer.

End use varies but it is best planted under trees in the shade, although you can also enjoy them in a bed or a lawn. Additionally you can enjoy its long lasting blooms in a pot on a balcony, in a window box or on a windowsill.

Alone or with other Winter Pearls such as Helleborus Christmas Carol or Gaultheria Big Berry, it will bring elegance and enchantment to your combinations.
