Saxifraga x arendsii

Saxifraga x arendsii is a charming, low-growing species that forms dense, moss-like mats of foliage adorned with delicate flowers. This hybrid species is a popular choice for rock gardens, alpine troughs, and as a ground cover in well-drained areas. It flowers from spring to early summer and has star-shaped blooms held above the foliage. 

 

We offer different series from both cuttings and seeds with different flowering periods, including the later flowering Touran series featuring the stunning ‘Large White’. More details at the bottom of this page.

Aubrieta hybrida

Aubrieta hybrida brings a cascade of colour to gardens in early spring. This hardy plant is a favourite among gardeners for beautiful carpets of flowers in rock gardens, along walls, or spilling over mixed containers.

Phlox subulata

Phlox subulata is a lowgrowing, mat-forming species that creates stunning evergreen carpets of colour in spring. The blooming period is from Mid-spring to early summer.

Iberis

Iberis sempervirens is a charming evergreen plant that brings a profusion of white flowers to gardens in spring. This low-growing plant is prized for its long-lasting blooms and ability to thrive in various garden settings.

 

We have an extended blooming period ranging from early to late spring. Our market leading range consists of White in early to late varieties both in seed (Whistler) and cutting (Snow Cone), we also have the beautiful Pink of Arielle (Iberis x hybrida). More details at the bottom of this page.

Erysimum linifolium

Erysimum linifolium is prized for its long flowering period and fragrant blooms. Its compact habit, drought tolerance, and attractive flowers make it a versatile plan suitable for various garden styles, from formal borders to naturalistic settings. Bees and butterflies are drawn to the flowers.

Aquilegia caerulea

Aquilegia caerulea has intricate flowers and airy foliage creating an enchanting, naturalistic feel. The species is versatile in the garden, suitable for landscaping, borders and different pots. Attractive to pollinators and also very suitable for cut flower usage. It flowers in late spring to early summer.

Lithodora diffusa

Lithodora diffusa is a low growing evergreen plant prized for its striking blue flowers and spreading habit. This plant has become a popular choice for rock gardens, ground cover, and cascading over walls. The species blooms from late spring to early summer. Bees and butterflies are drawn to the flowers. 

 

Our Tidepool series offers 2 easier to grow varieties for this traditional favorite, due to 360° and more controlled branching. More details at the bottom of this page.
