Syngenta FloriPro Services® at IPM 2017

For Syngenta FloriPro Services®, IPM 2017 in Essen, Germany, was a huge success. The atmosphere on each one of the four show days from 24 to 27 January was fantastic. During the course of the four bustling days, the Syngenta FloriPro Services® stand in Hall 1 welcomed many established customers along with large numbers of potential new ones. The ever-popular Happy Hour on the second day had a real buzz about it this year, marking a special high point in the show’s event calendar. IPM ESSEN closed on Friday, with trade visitor numbers at 57,350, a slight increase on last year.

In line with its brand slogan “Closer to you”, Syngenta FloriPro Services® welcomed visitors on an open and inviting stand in a relaxed atmosphere. This positive ambience was an ideal setting for numerous conversations with customers in which FloriPro Services® explained the background to this year’s theme, “Providing solutions. Growing together.” and presented itself as an End-to-End partner offering solutions for the entire value creation chain in the ornamental horticulture industry. Each part of the stand represented a different part of the supply chain, showcasing the individual services and offerings that FloriPro Services® has developed for its customers.

In an impressive presentation of its assortment, it demonstrated production solutions such as the easy-to-grow Mini-Cyclamen SeeWhy® series, retail solutions and campaign concepts such as EVERYDAYWONDER and MultiColours.

Its novelty poinsettias, which formed part of a display of most of its complete poinsettia assortment, and the big Iberis wall were without doubt among the main highlights of the stand. Visitors were also introduced to the company’s wide assortment of biennials, primulas, pansyes, violas and poinsettias and its extensive selection of bedding and balcony plants. In cutting and seed propagated annuals, the spotlight was on novelties in the Verbena hybrida Lanai® and Magelana series.

One outstanding introduction presented by Syngenta FloriPro Services® at IPM 2017 was the very special new colours in the Viola cornuta Endurio® series, plants that are well-known for their excellent flat-landscaping habit and vigorous growth.
