Syngenta FloriPro Services to offer consumers ‘exactly what they want’ at IPM 2018

Event

Syngenta FloriPro Services® (FPS) will position its new Calliope® geranium range as the flower that gives consumers ‘exactly what they want’ at the world’s leading horticulture trade fair, IPM ESSEN, in 2018.

The claim is based on in-depth consumer research in the UK and Germany in 2017 that reveals exactly what gardeners want from plants. The most popular features were: long-lasting flowers, outstanding intense colours – all season long, and plants that are worry-free. The strikingly beautiful Calliope® range, which embodies all of these features, is the culmination of 120 years of breeding experience at Syngenta Flowers and the crowning glory of FPS’s innovations in 2017.

The assortment includes more than 34 long-flowering varieties available in a wide array of intense colours, ranging from white to dark red. Positioned as THE EASY WAY TO COLOUR YOUR LIFE, the Calliope® range responds to the needs of today’s consumers. Retailers will also be pleased to know that, besides outstanding garden performance, the new Calliope® has a proven higher retail sales price than standard geraniums and uses tested consumer branding to drive sales.

FPS’s impressive display at IPM ESSEN will have a new look and feel in 2018. Designed to create a memorable experience, visitors will be the first to see the new Viola range being launched under the Do it right! brand. The range builds on the strengths of its best Viola and Pansy series, which are well-known and trusted for outstanding performance, reliability, uniformity and a wide choice of colours and types. The Do it right! range includes the stunning large-flowered series Delta® and Colossus®, as well as the highly versatile small-flowered Endurio, Deltini and Rocky series. All of these varieties are also noted for their reliable and cost-effective production qualities. These can all be enjoyed alongside a representative selection of FPS’s fine Annuals, Biennials and Spring Perennial novelties.

FPS will hold its ever-popular Happy Hour event on Wednesday, January 24 (4.30 – 6.30pm), the second day of this unmissable three-day show. Customers will be invited to one of the best-attended networking opportunities at the show to enjoy a range of cocktails, finger food, music and FPS hospitality.

With so much to see, make sure you visit us in hall 1 on stand 1C29 where FPS staff from across Europe will be happy to provide you with solutions that offer retailers and consumers exactly what they want.
