Syngenta Flowers at IPM Essen 24-27 January 2012: ‘Let’s talk about integrated solutions in genetics and ornamental controls’

Enkhuizen, The Netherlands, January 19, 2012

Syngenta Flowers is highlighting new integrated solutions for distributors, growers, retailers and consumers at IPM Essen 2012. The company has recently brought together its genetics and crop protection organizations to offer these solutions, designed to enhance customers’ growing and business success. The booth theme – “Let’s talk!” – also reflects Syngenta Flowers’ focus on giving customers direct access to its R&D, technical and commercial specialists as part of these solutions.

Syngenta Flowers offers the industry’s widest range of pot and bedding plants, as well as crop protection for an even more comprehensive range of ornamentals. Its integrated solutions approach allows parties throughout the value chain to benefit optimally from these products. On the booth at IPM Essen 2012 (Hall 2.0, 2A13), visitors can find out the benefits for their business.

Distributors can learn about Syngenta Flowers dedicated customer service team and resources such as the company’s huge online picture library. Growers visiting the booth can discover more about new tools such as integrated crop programs, Plantelligenz™ (providing hard scientific data on flowering times) and PaGE™, Syngenta Flowers’ college for growers, which provides tailored technical and commercial training. For retailers, the show is an opportunity to find out more about Syngenta Flowers integrated channel marketing, tailor-made assortment solutions and programs like Plant & Joy that promote premium, high added value products to attract consumers in the retail store.

Syngenta Flowers will also be showing its new Integrated Crop Solutions (ICS) program for poinsettia on its booth. This has been developed to help growers achieve a clean end product based on clean cuttings.

Eric Lekkerkerk, Head of Syngenta Flowers EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) region will be available on the booth for more detailed interviews throughout the show.
